Raised in the heart of New York City, Lawrence has always been magnetized to architecture. Inspired by designers such as Alvar Aalto, Alvaro Siza and Frank Lloyd Wright, Lawrence dreamed of creating beautiful homes and spaces for people to feel a heightened awareness of their surroundings and feel anchored in their environments.
As the website demonstrates, in addition to architecture, ceramics has begun to play a major role in his life. Initially a therapeutic escape from developing a thesis during covid lockdown, working with clay has become a major part of Lawrence’s life.
At 27 years old, Lawrence has designed and built a home and pottery studio in Arizona, designed a home in Canada, completed multiple renovation/extension designs, and is currently studying transformation and sustainable alternatives at a Master’s program at the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark.
